SolveDaily respects intellectual property rights. Every hint and explanation on this site is written originally for SolveDaily, and all game names, trademarks, and puzzle content belong to their respective owners. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on this site in a way that infringes your rights, we want to hear from you, and we will act promptly.
Designated contact
Send all copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated contact: contact@gosolvedaily.com. Please use the subject line "DMCA Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice" so your message is routed correctly.
Filing a takedown notice
To file a valid notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, include all of the following in your email:
- Your full name, address, and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- The exact URL of the allegedly infringing material on SolveDaily, plus a description of where it appears on the page.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that are missing required elements may not be actionable, and we may contact you to complete them before we can act.
What happens next
When we receive a complete notice, we review it promptly. If the claim appears valid, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and make a good-faith effort to notify any affected party where possible.
Filing a counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with: your contact information; identification of the removed material and its former URL; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district; and your physical or electronic signature. We will review counter-notices promptly and restore material where appropriate.
Repeat infringers
SolveDaily does not host user uploads or run user accounts, so repeat-infringer situations do not currently arise. If that ever changes, accounts of repeat infringers will be terminated.
A note on good faith
Please do not file a notice over material you do not own or have no right to enforce. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement in a DMCA notice can carry legal liability, so double-check before you send.
