Fact-Checking Policy

Getting the answer right is the whole job. Here is exactly how we check every daily puzzle before it reaches you.
1. Confirm the puzzle
First, we confirm today's puzzle and its number for each game, so the hints always match the puzzle you are actually playing. A surprising share of errors on the internet comes from mixing up puzzle numbers, especially around midnight when the date rolls over, so this step is never skipped and never rushed.
2. Check the answer against the official source
Every answer is checked against the game's official source (see our Official Sources) before anything is published. We verify the exact spelling and, where relevant, the letter count and the puzzle number. For games with several parts, like Connections categories or multi-word Strands answers, each part is checked on its own.
3. Hold if anything is unverified
If an answer cannot be verified, because of conflicting information, missing data, or anything ambiguous, the page update is held. We would rather publish late than publish wrong. We never publish guesses, and we never present a "likely" answer as confirmed. Readers may notice a page going live later than usual on rare days. That delay is this rule doing its job.
4. Review the hints
Hints are written fresh daily and reviewed for accuracy before publication. Every hint must be true of the checked answer: it must never contradict the answer, never point at a different word, and never accidentally reveal the answer outright. Difficulty notes are kept honest. We do not inflate or deflate how hard a puzzle felt, and we do not write hints that only make sense after you already know the answer.
5. Final human check
Our content reviewer, Murtaza Ali, checks every hint and answer before publication. A page only goes live once he has confirmed it. This is the final gate, and it applies to all seven games, every single day, with no exceptions for quiet days or easy puzzles.
6. Corrections
If an error slips through despite all of this, we fix it on the page as fast as we can and note the correction so readers can see what changed. Report anything suspicious to contact@gosolvedaily.com with the game and the date, and we will re-check it against the official source immediately.
What fact-checking does not cover
Our process verifies answers, not opinions. Difficulty ratings and strategy tips reflect our own solving experience and are meant as guidance, not guarantees. A puzzle we found easy might stump you, and that is fine. Similarly, our free tools, the Word Finder and the Wordle Helper, use reference word lists rather than daily answers. They help you play; they do not tell you today's solution.
